On Leaving Charleston

I rather like Alexandra Ripley's romance novels. I greatly enjoyed reading Charleston. However, I found this to be lacking. While it was a somewhat engaging story, I didn't really feel connected to this new set of characters.

If you feel that you must read it, then by all means go ahead. Just don't expect too much.
