Andrew J. McIntyre

Andrew J. McIntyre was an American cinematographer. During World War II, MGM arranged for actor Clark Gable and his studio friend, cinematographer Andrew McIntyre, to enlist with Gable in the United States Army Air Forces and accompany him through training. On August 17, 1942, shortly after Gable's enlistment, he and McIntyre were sent to Miami Beach, Florida, where they entered USAAF OCS Class 42-E. Both completed training on October 28, 1942, and were commissioned as second lieutenants.
